Knolo Hub

Knolo Hub is the public registry for portable Knowledge Images. Postgres records what a pack is. Blob storage holds the bytes. @knolo/core proves and queries what is inside. Queries do not hit a Hub endpoint. Bytes download from Blob, not through an application server you run.

knolo add installs only after the manifest, Blob bytes, digest, size, and local image structure all verify. Successful installs are cached by SHA-256 and recorded in knolo.lock.json. A yanked version or a conflicting pin requires --force. Those flags do not skip digest checks.

Publishing uses a dashboard token minted at https://hub.knolo.dev/dashboard/tokens. knolo login --token stores it. knolo publish requests a public Blob PUT grant, uploads the bytes without sending the token to Blob, and completes with the public pack URL.

Hub attested: true is a listing flag. It is not an attestation root. Composition does not call Hub. See Attestations.

The production registry is https://hub.knolo.dev. Use --registry or KNOLO_HUB_URL for a local or partner Hub. In NODE_ENV=development, the CLI default is http://localhost:3000 unless you set a registry.
