Installation

Install the runtime:

npm install @knolo/core

@knolo/core@6.2.0 is the current npm latest release. No hosted service and no vector database are required. The package runs in Node, the browser, and React Native. Filesystem helpers are on @knolo/core/node.

`@knolo/core/composition`	Composition records, excerpts, and attestations.
`@knolo/core/cortex`	Knolo Cortex sessions and trace verification.
`@knolo/core/experimental/kar`	Compatibility entry for this cycle. Prefer `@knolo/core/kar`.

The root entry does not load KAR, composition, or Cortex.

@knolo/cli, @knolo/langchain, @knolo/llamaindex, @knolo/semantic-ollama, and create-knolo-app publish at 6.2.0. @knolo/cli depends on @knolo/core ^6.2.0. Evidence Gate stays 0.1.0 and Reflex stays 0.2.0. Both depend on @knolo/core ^6.0.0.

Published @knolo/mcp is 0.2.0. Published @knolo/tools is 0.2.0. @knolo/code is 0.1.1: local V4 code Knowledge Image and Grok Build tools for structure-first retrieval. @knolo/openclaw@0.1.0 is published on ClawHub, not npm, and depends on @knolo/core ^5.5.1.

Node 20 or newer is required for the CLI, MCP, tools, and Reflex. The OpenClaw plugin requires Node 24.16 or newer.
