V4 retrieval pipelines
V4 RETRIEVAL GUIDEKnolo gives an application a deterministic candidate-retrieval layer. The pages in this group cover selection, reranking, boundaries, context construction, and evaluation. Decomposition, selection, and answering are host adapters. Knolo retrieves. It does not call a model.
Retrieve broadly, select deliberately, answer narrowly.

For a bounded evidence loop with a replayable trace, use Knolo Cortex. Cortex still does not decide that an answer is true. For a minimum typed evidence set, use KAR. KAR does not replace this retrieval path.
