KAR

KAR retrieves a minimum evidence set under explicit requirements. It does not return another ranked list of passages, and it does not replace query().

Evidence stays typed as support, opposition, qualification, temporal or applicability, and authority, according to the declared plan. The evaluation is deterministic over a V5 Knowledge Image and a Committed Evidence Graph.

Exampletext
documents
  → Knowledge Image
  → CEG Source
  → Committed Evidence Graph
  → KAR
  → dossier and coverage report
  → independent verification

Import it from the separate entry:

Examplets
import {
  createKarSession,
  evaluateKar,
  verifyKar,
  explainKarResult,
  createKarDossier,
  createKarCoverage,
} from '@knolo/core/kar';

@knolo/core does not load this module. @knolo/core/experimental/kar remains operational for this cycle. Authoring imports come from @knolo/core/kar/authoring.

SATISFIED means the evidence requirements were satisfied. It does not mean the claim is proven. UNSATISFIED_EVIDENCE_REQUIREMENTS means the requirements were not satisfied. It does not mean the claim is false. Abstention is a normal completed result.

KAR does not find all truth, prove a claim, guarantee that source documents are correct, understand every contract, or extract semantics by itself. Domain Packs that propose CEG Source are review-required. See limitations.

Public vectors are conformance/kar/v1 and conformance/kar/coverage-v1 in the Knolo Core repository. The worked demos are examples/kar-v6 and examples/kar-coverage.

Rust 5.5.1 can evaluate and verify the public KAR vectors. It does not compile CEG Source and does not write coverage reports. Python and ICP do not implement KAR.
