Verification

Verification checks structure and cryptographic commitments. Storage location and a service assertion are not substitutes. Invalid or inconsistent state fails closed.

TypeScript and Rust share fixtures for deterministic CBOR, domain-separated SHA-256 digests, object and event and commit and state roots, superblock selection, torn-write recovery, and migration receipts. Rust also checks the public KAR vectors. See Versions.

A verification result answers a narrow question: do these bytes match the roots they declare? It does not answer whether a source document is correct, whether a claim is true, or whether an agent should publish an answer.

Use the matching verifier for the artifact:

ArtifactCheck
V4 packknolo verify or the runtime pack verifier
V5 imageverifyKnowledgeImageV5 or knolo v5 health
KAR result or dossierverifyKar
Composition or attestationverifyCompositionRecord
Cortex traceverifyCortexAnswer
Evidence Gate certificateverifyEvidenceGateV1

The Knolo Verify GitHub Action runs a pinned CLI over committed artifacts. It does not add rules of its own.
