Committed Evidence Graph
A Committed Evidence Graph is the compiled sidecar KAR evaluates. Format details and the compiler live with CEG Source. The graph is not a search index and it is not a second Knowledge Image.
The V5 image remains the evidence bytes. stateRoot identifies that image. The graph binds propositions, relations, and plan inputs to objects in the image. compileCegSource() is the writer of the sidecar bytes. Authoring imports come from @knolo/core/kar/authoring.
KAR evaluates the graph you supply. It does not reach out to repair a missing edge, and it does not treat a regex match in a Domain Pack as a committed relation. Human review is still required before a proposed graph is treated as validated semantics. See Domain Packs.
Rust can evaluate and verify a graph that already matches the public KAR vectors. The Rust crate does not compile CEG Source and does not write V5 images.
Check a graph against an image with the CLI:
knolo kar graph check --image knowledge.knolo --graph knowledge.kar.jsonA graph diff is knolo kar graph diff. The Knolo Verify action can run that check on a committed pair. The action does not compile the graph.
